Pertamina, PELNI signs MoU

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina signed on Wednesday a MoU with state-owned shipping company PELNI to further expand business cooperation between the two state firms.

Pertamina said in a statement that under the MoU, the company will supply the fuel need of PELNI vessels, Musicool (Pertamina?s environmentally-friendly refrigerant hydrocarbon product) for PELNI office buildings, and to provide certification for standard of training, certification, and watchkeeping for seafarers.

Meanwhile, PELNI will provide at least one vessel to transport Pertamina products and drilling equipment

The MoU, signed by Pertamina Director Ahmad Bambang, and PELNI President Director Elfien Goentoro, is valid for five years, and can be extended.
