Pertamina, Pertamina EP, Hess team up in EOR program

State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, PT Pertamina EP and Hess Indonesia have signed joint study agreement (JSA) on CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) program, a follow-up to an MoU inked by firms last May.
Pertamina EP President Director Syamsu Alam said the firm expected a lot from the cooperation as fields are aging.
?This technology is relatively new. For this joint study, we have selected certain fields, namely Minyak Abab, Raja and Dewa in Muara Enim, South Sumatra. We?ll determine later whether to continue with this cooperation,? Syamsu said.
