Pertamina, PetroChina ramp up E. Java oil production

Sukowati oil field in Tuban Block onshore East Java is currently producing 27,500 barrels of oil after the block?s newest producing well Sukowati #8 became onstream early September with flow rate of 2,655 BPD, an official said on Wednesday.

Victory Surya Kirana, Field Manager JOB Pertamina-PetroChina East Java which jointly operates the block told Petromindo.Com that production would be increased further to 30,000 BPD by year-end.

Victory said the block?s partnership will drill four more development wells in the block to keep the output steady until the end 2009. (godang)
