Pertamina, Petronas closer to sign Sarawak exploration deal

State oil and gas company Pertamina had completed reviewing Petronas? data room for SK 305 exploration block onshore Sarawak, Malaysia and had decided to enter into joint exploration venture with Petronas, an industry source said.

?The data room showed encouraging results and Pertamina has stepped further by reveiwing the joint venture and PSC contract,? said the source.

The source said PetroVietnam, which is also offered participation to explore the block, had opted not to join the partnership.
