Pertamina, Petronas, Petrovietnam to form joint venture for Vietnam exploration

State oil and gas firm Pertamina will sign joint venture agreement with Malaysia?s Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) and Petrovietnam to start exploration at Block 10 in Vietnam.
?The agreement will be signed in Ho Chi Minh City on January 8,? Baihaki Hakim, Pertamina?s president told reporters Thursday.
Baihaki said Pertamina would be represented by its wholly owned subsidiary PT Pertamina Hulu Energi in the joint venture.
Baihaki said each joint venture participant would hold 33 percent working interest. (alex/godang)
