State oil and gas company Pertamina and Malaysia?s state oil firm Petronas have signed an agreement to co-manage Anoa gas field offshore West Natuna, Pertamina senior manager for general services Sidick Nitikusumah told Peromindo.Com on Thursday.

The accord was signed on June 20 by Pertamina?s production sharing management director Effendi Situmorang and Petronas senior vice president Idris Musa.

Sidick said the agreement is effective for 10 years and involves 100 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of gas supply from Anoa field to Petronas.

Anoa field is located within the Natuna Sea Block ?A?, which is operated by British oil and gas firm Premier Oil Plc.

The field is situated along the border of Indonesia and Malaysia?s economic exclusive zone (EEZ). Some part of gas reserves in Anoa gas field turned out to be located within Malaysia?s EEZ and Petronas asked for its share of gas revenue. (godang)
