Pertamina, Petronas to sign MOU on Middle East and Vietnam projects

State oil and gas company Pertamina in November will sign a memorandum of understanding with Malaysia?s oil and gas firm Petronas which aims to intensify their cooperation in managing oil and gas blocks in the Middle East so far managed by the Malaysian company.
Pertamina?s upstream affairs director Iin Arifin Pakhayan said in Bandung on Wednesday that the MOU would also include cooperation between the two companies in intensifying their joint management of oil and gas blocks in Vietnam -- Block 10 and Block 11 -- which will also involve Petronas Vietnam.
The MOU is to follow up on the initial agreement reached last year between Pertamina and Petronas. (godang)
