Pertamina, PIDC eyeing Iran, Algeria exploration blocks

State oil and gas company PT. Pertamina said Friday it was in talks with Vietnam?s oil company PIDC to jointly explore an exploration blocks in Iran and three other blocks in Algeria.
?Talks with PIDC to jointly explore the blocks in Iran?s Khoramabad Basin and three other blocks in Algeria are underway,? said upstream director Bambang Nugroho. He did not disclose further detail.
He added that along with PIDC Pertamina had asked a Singaporean company and an Iranian company to join PIDC and Pertamina to submit bid proposal on the above said blocks. (godang)
