Pertamina plans E. Java LNG receiving terminal

CEO Karen Agustiawan said that the facility will be 100 percent owned by Pertamina and would cost the company US$200 million.
She said the terminal will be completed in late 2011.
She did not say where it would buy the LNG from.
Separately, Coordinating Minister for Economics Hatta Radjasa told reporter that Indonesia will have three LNG receiving terminals with combined capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum in late 2011.
Pertamina and IDX-listed state distribution firm PGN are teaming up to build a floating LNG terminal in Jakarta with capacity of 1.5MTPA and another one planned by PGN in Belawan, North Sumatra.
State electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) will become main offtaker for the three terminals, he said.
Budi Indianto, Deputy Chairman of upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS, confirmed on a separate occasion that three LNG receiving terminals are planned to be built in Indonesia.
"Using these LNG receiving terminals, we expect to take LNG from the Tangguh plant in Papua, Bontang plant in East Kalimantan and possibly from Qatar,"Budi said.(godang)
