Pertamina plans higher oil, gas production in 2017

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) plans higher oil and gas production of 693,000 boepd in 2017, compared to this year?s estimate.

Meidawati, SVP Upstream Strategic Planning & Operation Evaluation at Pertamina, said that oil production next year is targeted at 335,000 bopd, while gas output at 2,080 mmscfd.

In comparison, oil production until the end of this year is estimated at 313,000 bopd, and gas 1,978 mmscfd.

?For the gas sales (2017), about 85 percent of production, while oil about 95 percent,? Meidawati said.

Elsewhere, she said that oil production as per October of this year stood at 309,000 bopd, while gas production at 1,777 mmscfd.
