Pertamina president questioned by KPK

President Director of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan, is scheduled for questioning by the Corruption Eradication Commmission (KPK) today as a witness in relation to the alleged bribery scandal at the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
Pertamina Vice President of Communications Ali Mundakir told Petromindo.com Thursday that the questioning was scheduled to take place at 10 AM at the KPK headquarters. Karen had failed to show up at an earlier summon by the KPK.
The KPK has detained the suspended chairman of SKK Migas, Rudi Rubiandi, over allegation of receiving bribes from a Singapore-based oil trader. The commission has earlier also questioned Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Waryono Karno as witness.
