The state oil and gas company Pertamina said on Monday it has raised its prices in petroleum products for October.
It said that the revised prices are effective as of Tuesday. The company gave no reason for the increases, but analysts said the rise follows the recent rally in international crude prices.
Pertamina will raise the price of gasoline to Rp.1,750 ($1=Rp.9,015) a liter, from Rp.1,690.
Kerosene will cost Rp.1,520/liter, up from Rp.1,390/liter. Marine diesel will rise to Rp.1,420/liter, from Rp.1,340, and high-speed diesel will rise to Rp.1,440/liter, from Rp.1,360. Marine fuel oil will remain at Rp.1,150/liter.(*)
