Pertamina raises fuel prices by an average of 14.46%

State oil and gas firm Pertamina has raised fuel prices for May by an average 14.46 percent from April?s levels with premium gasoline hitting the ceiling price of Rp 1750 (about 18.81 U.S. cents) per liter.
The price of premium gasoline increased from Rp1600 in April, while diesel fuel for cars was raised to Rp1400 from Rp 1250.
Diesel fuel for machinery rose to Rp 1390 from Rp 1240, and the price of kerosene for industry to Rp1410, from Rp 1310.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene for low income households remains Rp 600.
Pertamina has raised fuel prices four times this year namely on Jan. 1, Jan 17, March 1, Apr. 1, and May 3. (*)
