Pertamina raises fuel prices for industry

State oil and gas firm Pertamina has officially raised Premium gasoline price for industry to Rp 6,290 per liter from Rp 5,160 and diesel fuel price to Rp 6,000 from Rp 5,350, an official at the company said Wednesday.
Pertamina's head of fuel division Achmad Faisal said that Pertamina Decree No. KPTS 340/F00000/2005-S3 on the new fuel prices was signed by Pertamina?s president director on Oct 1.
Based on the Pertamina?s decree, kerosene for industry will be sold for Rp 6,400 per liter, fuel oil at Rp 3,810 a liter and diesel oil at Rp 5,780 per liter, he said.
Faisal added for international bunkers, the price for high speed diesel oil had been raised to 58.4 US cents per liter, while the price of marine diesel oil has increased to 56.3 US cents and marine fuel oil to 37 US cents. (godang/dino)
