Pertamina raises fuel prices for industry

State oil and gas firm Pertamina announced Friday the increase in premium gasoline price for industry to Rp 5,469 (US$= Rp.8,800)per liter from Rp 5.098 and high speed diesel price for industry to Rp 5,512 from Rp 5,129, while the high speed diesel price for transportation to Rp 5,763 from Rp 5,362.

Kerosene for industry will be sold for Rp5,664 per liter, fuel oil at Rp 3,661 a liter and diesel oil at Rp 5,326 per liter, he said.

Pertamina's marketing and trading Director Ahmad Faisal said the new prices would be effective by first of May.

Faisal added for international bunkers, the price for high speed diesel for industry had been raised to 60.52 US cents per liter, while the price of high speed diesel for transportation has increased to 63.27 US cents. (godang)
