Pertamina raises fuel prices for industry

Pertamina said in Jakarta Thursday that the company?s move to increase the retail prices for fuels compared to April 15 prices was in line with the increases in Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS) prices by around 6.43 percent and 9.37 percent.
Prices for premium gasoline has been raised by 6.4 percent to Rp 7.682.815 (US$= Rp 9,240) per liter, kerosene by 9.4 percent to Rp 9,424.84 per liter and marine fuel oil (MFO) by 7.5 percent to Rp 5,683.29 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) also increased to Rp 9,227.17 per liter from Rp 8,293.77 per liter in the April 15-30 period, while the price of marine diesel fuel (MDF) rose to Rp 9,074.18 per liter from Rp 8,217.95 per liter.
Meanwhile the new price for Pertamax in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java is Rp 8,750 compared with Rp 8,300 per liter previously. The price of Pertamax Plus in the same regions have been raised to Rp 9,000 from Rp 8,600 per liter, while Pertamina Dex's price increased to Rp 11,000 from Rp 10,200 per liter and BioPertamax to Rp 8,750 from Rp 8,300 per liter.
Prices of fuels for public transportation are maintained at Rp 4,500 per liter for premium gasoline and Rp 4,300 per liter for HSD. Price for subsidized kerosene for household and small industry consumption is maintained at Rp. 2,000 per liter. (denny)
