Pertamina raises fuel prices for industry

State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina raised retail prices for several oil-based fuels for industry beginning July 1, 2007

 

Under the decree signed on June 29, 2007, Pertamina sets new prices for diesel fuel, diesel oil and high-speed diesel in line with the increasing Mild Oil Platts Singapore (MOPS) around 0.6 -5.1 percent in June period and Rupiah exchange to US$ was weaker about 0.07%.

 

The prices for diesel fuel has been raised by 1.1 percent to Rp 5,858.70 per liter, marine diesel fuel by 1.0 percent to 5,676.54 per liter and marine fuel oil by 6.8 percent to Rp 3,950.00 per liter.

 

Pertamina's public relations affairs head Toharso said that the retail price for premium gasoline has been decreased by 3.5 percent to Rp 6,179.00 per liter, but the company has raised the price for kerosene by up to 1.6 percent to Rp 5,926.49 per liter.

 

Meanwhile, the price of high-octane gasoline remains unchanged. The price for Pertamax for Region III (Jakarta, Banten, West Java) is still Rp 6.400 per liter. The prices of Pertamax Plus and Pertamina DEX gasoline are unchanged at Rp 6.500 and Rp. 6.300 per liter, respectively.

 

The price of Biopertamax gasoline also unchanged at Rp. 6.400 per liter. (godang)
