Pertamina raises fuel prices for industry, LPG for households

Pertamina said in Jakarta Monday that the company?s move to increase the retail prices for fuels compared to June 15 prices was in line with the increases in Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS) prices by around 1.1 percent and 5.4 percent.
Prices for premium gasoline has been raised by 3.0 percent to Rp 9,136.00 (US$= Rp 9,220) per liter, kerosene by 1.1 percent to Rp 11,229.00 per liter and marine fuel oil (MFO) by 5.4 percent to Rp 6,783.50 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) also increased by 3.8 percent to Rp 11,277.00 per, while the price of marine diesel fuel (MDF) rose to Rp 10,984.00 per liter from Rp 10,655.57 per liter.
Meanwhile the new price for Pertamax in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java is Rp 10,300 compared with Rp 10,000 per liter previously. The price of Pertamax Plus in the same regions have been raised to Rp 10,600 from Rp 10,300 per liter, while Pertamina Dex's price increased to Rp 13,000 from Rp 12,700 per liter and BioPertamax to Rp 10,300 from Rp 10,000 per liter.
Prices of fuels for public transportation are maintained at Rp 6,000 per liter for premium gasoline and Rp 5,500 per liter for HSD. Price for subsidized kerosene for household and small industry consumption is maintained at Rp. 2,500 per liter.
Due to LPG price in International Market (Ref CP Aramco price) has risen significantly, Pertamina also decided that effective by 1 July 2008, LPG 12 kg retail price increased 23 percent to Rp. 5,250 per kg from previously Rp. 4,250 per kg.
Meanwhile, the retail price for LPG 3 kg is maintained at Rp. 4.250 per kg. (godang)
