PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will increase the retail price of Pertamax and Pertamax Green fuel products starting June 10, while maintaining prices for subsidized fuels Pertalite and Biosolar.
Under the new pricing scheme, Pertamax (RON 92) will rise by 32% to Rp16,250 per liter (US$0.90) from Rp12,300 per liter (US$0.68) previously. Pertamax Green 95 will increase to Rp17,000 per liter (US$0.94) from Rp12,900 per liter (US$0.72).
The adjustment follows a periodic price evaluation that takes into account movements in global oil prices and market-based fuel prices, according to Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Corporate Secretary Roberth M.V. Dumatubun said the new prices were determined in coordination with the government and in accordance with the pricing formula set by regulators.
Prices for other non-subsidized fuel products remain unchanged. Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) stays at Rp20,750 per liter (US$1.15), Dexlite at Rp23,000 per liter (US$1.28), and Pertamina Dex at Rp24,800 per liter (US$1.38).
Meanwhile, subsidized fuel prices remain unchanged, with Pertalite maintained at Rp10,000 per liter (US$0.56) and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per liter (US$0.38).
