Pertamina raises West Java?s oil production by 37%

Pertamina?s production unit for West Java has successfully raised crude oil production by 37 percent to 20,152 barrels per day from this year?s target of 14,669 barrels per day thanks to the use of enhanced production technology in several inactive oil fields.
The use of the new technology has raised the crude oil production at the Cemara oil field in Indramayu to 800 barrels per day from 200 barrels per day previously.
The production of the offshore X-Ray field has been also increased to 1,300 barrels per day from 200 barrels per day previously. The new technology has been also used at the Tambun oil field. (*)
