Pertamina reaches agreement with PLN on diesel price

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has finally reached an agreement on the price of diesel fuel products for the latter?s power plants, Kontan reported on Monday.

The paper quoted Media Manager of Pertamina Adiatma Sardjito as saying that the new price agreement is valid only for July-December 2014 supply, while the two firms have yet to reach agreement on next year?s supply.

The paper said that under the new agreement, the price of high speed diesel is set at 109.5 percent of Means of Platts Singapore (MoPS), while the price of Marine Fuel Oil at 111 percent of MoPS.

With the new price agreement, Pertamina has decided to withdraw its earlier plan to cut down diesel supply volume to PLN by 50 percent, the paper said. (*)
