Pertamina receives ISO 14001 for lube plant

State oil and gas company Pertamina received Wednesday the ISO 14001 certificate for the environmental management of its lube blending plant in Cilacap, Central Java.

The certificate was handed over by head of certification agency TUV Indonesia?s director Markus Hattemer to Pertamina?s upstream director Iin Arifin Takhyan.

Pertamina said in a statement TUV conducted the pre-auditing of the lube plant on December 18 last year , which was followed by a certification auditing on February 6 and 7 this year and a re-auditing on March 8 this year.

The Cilacap lube plant, which was established in 1986, produces lube for the domestic market with the capacity of 69,200 kiloliters per year. The lube's products carry brands like Mesran Super, Mesran Prima, Super XP for vehicles and Mediteran S 10 W, Mediteran P 10 W and Medipral 3 for industries. (Godang)
