Pertamina reports promising result from PGDP project

PT Pertamina has reported a promising result from its drilling of PDW-8 well in Paku Gajah Development Project (PGDP) in Muara Enim regency of South Sumatra.

The drilling, which was started on March 23 and expected to be finalized in 26 days this year, had reached the depth of 1590 mMD and had been released on April 17, 2016 at midnight, by using Rig EMSCO D-2/M PDSI. Its production test on open flow showed gas at 10.67 MMSCFD and condensate at 16.3 BCPD, while on Modified Isochronal Test (MIT) at bean size 13 mm showed the rate of gas at 5.53 MMSCFD, and condensate at 23.7 BCPD.

?The PDW-8 well is the first well of the total six wells to be drilled in PGDP this year. The other five wells to be drilled are KAG-A2, TSM-6, KAG-A3, KRD-3 and KAG-A1?, said Musallam Latuconsina, General Manager of PGDP., in a press release on Thursday

The PDW-8 was located in Pagardewa village of Muara Enim regency, South Sumatra, about 60 km south of Prabumulih.
