Pertamina resumes operation of Teluk Kabung fuel terminal

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina resumed Wednesday the operation of Teluk Kabung oil fuel terminal in Padang, West Sumatra, after it was shut down on Tuesday following attack by several thugs.

Pertamina Vice President for Corporate Communication Wianda Pusponegoro, however, urged in a statement for the police to ensure security for the facility to help prevent similar attack from reoccurring.

Several thugs attacked the facility on Tuesday after a Pertamina official evicted an unidentified person from the terminal?s complex.
