Pertamina's assets down

State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina said the size of its assets declined from Rp 100 trillion to Rp 82.5 trillion in the 2009 financial year.

Company vice president for communications, Basuki Trikora said Monday the decline was a result of asset reevaluation, said company vice president for communications Basuki Trikora Putra.

He said that following the reevaluation process, some assets were not included in the calculation of the company?s authorized capital. He didn?t provide more details.

At a shareholders meeting on June 15, shareholders approved Pertamina?s authorized capital at Rp 200 trillion. (godang)
