Pertamina?s Plaju gets ISO 9001-2000 certificate

State oil and gas firm Pertamina Thursday received ISO 9001-2000 certificate from United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for its refinery unit in South Sumatra, Sumatra Ekspres reported.
The refinery, located in Plaju district, produces polypropylene and pure terephthalic acids, which are used as raw materials for plastic industries and clothing industries, respectively.
Pertamina?s Production Unit III, which covers southern Sumatra, oversees the petrochemical plant. (*)
