State oil and gas firm Pertamina's finance director Ainun Na'im revealed on Tuesday that out of the Rp 1.04 trillion graft allegations, Rp 700 billion had been tackled and only Rp 300 billion had not been followed up.
"Now, the unresolved cases are relatively small, at about Rp 300 billion. The others have been settled, and there are no problems," he said in Yogyakarta.
Ainun said his party welcomed the announcement of the graft allegations by the Development and Finance Comptroller (BPKP).
"That has a positive impact on us. That will give us a spirit so that Pertamina will be more careful in the future," he said.
BPKP revealed recently that graft allegations in Pertamina totaled Rp 1.04 trillion, the largest among state institutions and state companies audited by the comptroller.
The graft allegations by BPKP included violation of common procedures stipulated in the regulations on the procurement of goods and services, mark up, unreasonable payments and deals involving parties with conflicts of interests. (*)
