State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina said that MT Transko Aries, a vessel owned by its subsidiary PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), had on August 4 managed to load additives belonging to the company at a terminal owned by Vopak Terminals Singapore Pte Ltd.

The company said in a statement Wednesday that this marks the vessel?s international performance as to be able to dock at the international terminal, the vessel must first pass a number of vetting processes.

It added that MT Transko Aries has now been registered with the OCIMF website, through which the performance of the vessel can be accessed by oil and gas companies around the world.

Pertamina said that the success of MT Transko Aries to dock at the Singapore terminal proves that PTK can become a world-class company.

Pertamina said that another PTK vessel called MT Transko Aquila plans to also operate in Singapore.
