Pertamina seeks 200,000 BPD crude supply from Aramco

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) is in talks with Saudi Arabian firm Saudi Aramco to import 200,000 barrels of crude per day to feed Balongan refinery in West Java, CEO Karen Agustiawan said.

Currently, Balongan imports 125,000 BPD of Arabian Light Crude from Aramco.

Karen said the deal might be concluded soon and shipment for additional volume could commence this year.

Karen said Pertamina is expecting to get long-term contract with Aramco for the additional volume. (bernard)
