Pertamina seeks buyers for 11 uncommitted LNG cargoes

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina is currently seeking buyers for 11 uncommitted LNG cargoes produced by the Bontang plant in East Kalimantan.

Director of Gas and Renewables at Pertamina, Yenni Andayani said on Thursday that there are a total of 36 uncommitted LNG cargoes from Bontang this year, of which 25 cargoes have found buyers following completion of tender process.

?Tender for the 25 cargoes has been completed, but delivery will be made at the end of this year. Tender for the remainders (11 cargoes) is underway,? she said.

?Total production this year is 164 cargoes, of which 128 have been committed or contracted. While the remaining 36 cargoes are uncommitted and sold to the spot market,? Yenni added.
