Pertamina sees Cepu gas onstream in 2013

State oil and gas company PT.Pertamina said on Wednesday that Cepu giant block in East Java may be brought to production in 2013.
Vice President Director Iin Arifin Takhyan said the gas field in the block may produce 350MMCFD to fulfill East Java East Java gas demand.
?Pertamina is pushing our partner in the block ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia (EMOI) to agree to bring Cepu gas into production in 2013 from 2015 earlier planned,? he said.
The EMOI-Pertamina partnership, which has 45 percent interest each in the block, is currently starting up oil production at Cepu with the aim of bringing production to 165,000 BPD in 2012. (alex)
