Pertamina sees significant increase in 2010 LPG consumption

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina expects LPG consumption will increase to 4.3 million tonnes next year, up from 3 million tonnes expected this year.

Corporate Secretary Toharso said Pertamina will import 30 percent of the LPG requirement.

LPG consumption is on the increasing mode after as the government limits heavily subsidized kerosene, forcing consumers shifting to LPG. (godang)
