As for next year, Pertamina is scheduled to sell 233 LNG cargoes, lower than 2011 realized LNG deliveries, Djohardi Angga Kusumah, a senior official of PT Pertamina told Petromindo.com.
Deputy Chairman for Operation of BPMIGAS Rudi Rubiandini said that in total Indonesia will produce 262 cargoes of LNG next year. Some of the cargoes will be delivered for domestic buyers.
Rudi Rubiandini said the actual contracted LNG cargoes for 2012 reached 266, meaning that there is still a shortage of 4 cargoes. The shortage was due to a decline in LNG production from Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan.
Rudi said of the LNG cargoes set aside for domestic buyers, 23 cargoes from Bontang LNG plant will be delivered to Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) West Java at the Jakarta bay. Fertilizer plant PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda will get 7 cargoes of LNG from Bontang and 1 cargo from Arun plant. (godang)
