Pertamina sign MoU with Kuwait Petroleum

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kuwaiti state owned firm Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) to jointly develop oil and gas and renewable energy.

The MoU was signed by Pertamina?s President Director Dwi Soetjipto and KPC CEO Nizar Mohammad Al-Adsani on Monday.

Under the MoU, both firms will jointly study potentials to cooperate in oil and gas business, including renewable energy business, in Indonesia, Kuwait and elsewhere. The study covers technical, commercial and financial aspects of upstream, midstream and downstream sector, including marketing, refinery, infrastructures and petrochemicals, Pertamina said in a statement.
