Pertamina signs agreement with Pelindo II and ASDP

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has signed cooperation agreements with state owned seaport operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II and state owned ferry operator PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) to develop and utilize oil fuel infrastructures for sea transportation.

The agreements were signed by Pertamina?s President Director Dwi Seotjipto, Pelindo II?s President Director R.J. Lino and ASDP Indonesia?s President Director Danang S. Baskoro in a ceremony attended by Minister of State Enterprises Rini Soemarno, Pertamina said in a statement on Thursday.

The agreement with Pelindo II is for a joint investment to build and operate an oil fuel terminal and supply of oil fuel for vessels coming to New Priok, Kalibaru ports owned by Pelindo II. The fuel terminal that will be built by the firms is designed with the capacity of 500,000 kl in the first phase. The agreement with ASDP is for the supply of oil fuels and lubricants to ferries operating in the operating areas of ASDP across the country.
