Pertamina signs cooperation agreement with India Engineers

Indonesia?s state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has recently signed a cooperation agreement with India Engineers Ltd for the provision of highly-skilled human resources and technology in the development of the former company?s existing fuel refineries.

Pertamina Director of Processing Chrisna Damayanto said in a press statement obtained Monday that to help ensure the future sustainability of the company?s processing business, Pertamina has launched a refinery development master plant (RDMP) to develop its existing fuel refineries.

Chrisna said that to help ensure the success of the RDMP program, the availability of highly competent human resources and necessary technology is crucial, thus the cooperation with Engineers India Ltd, a government-owned company.

?For this, Pertamina has been proactive in setting up cooperation both with domestic and overseas engineering companies,? he said.
