Pertamina signs fuel supply agreement with East Timor

The state oil and gas firm Pertamina marketing and logistic unit in Surabaya, East Java, signed an agreement with the United Nations Transitional Administration for East Timor to supply fuel and non-fuel products worth US$7 million to the country's former province.

Head of the Pertamina Surabaya office Soemarsono was quoted by Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying that this was the second agreement made by Pertamina with East Timor administration. He said that the first was in February to supply fuel worth of $50,000.

He said that the fuel products supply included premium gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, while non-fuel products included lubricants and gas tube.(*)
