Pertamina signs power project development with PLN

The state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina signed on Wednesday a monumental agreement with the state-owned electricity company PLN Java-Bali division to jointly develop geothermal power generation project.
The joint project would cover all geothermal activities from upstream to downstream.
The agreement was signed by Pertamina production and exploration director Gatot K. Wirojudo and PLN Java-Bali director Herman Darnel.
The agreement is monumental because previous deals only involved the selling of Pertamina steam to PLN. (--R. Amoros--)
