The state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina has spotted nine locations in Serang and Cilegon areas in West Java with rampant fuel faking activity: mixing diesel fuel with kerosene or premium gasoline with kerosene.

The Neraca daily said that Pertamina security division had identified the owners of the four locations including one by a military man.

Pertamina president Baihaki Hakim, who made sudden inspection to the Serang and Cilegon areas on Wednesday confirmed the rampant fuel mixing activity in the two areas.

But Neraca didn't say what measures would be taken against the owners of the fuel mixing activity. (*)
