Pertamina starts construction of lubricants technology center

PT Pertamina Lubricants, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, held on Monday a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its Lubricants Technology Center (LTC) in Plumpang, North Jakarta.
“Technology plays crucial role in producing innovative products and services that meet market demand particularly in response to future challenges,” said Pertamina Director of Corporate Marketing, Basuki Trikora Putra in a statement issued following the ceremony.
President Director of Pertamina Lubricants Ageng Giriyono said that the construction of LTC is aimed at helping the company to win the increasingly tough competition in the lubricants industry.
“We’re committed to become more innovative through a more comprehensive research and laboratory facility,” he said.
The statement said that the LTC is being developed on a 12,500 sqm of land, designed with a green concept, environmentally-friendly, and will internationally-standard integrated facilities.
