Pertamina starts distributing Pertamina Dex fuel from Bitung terminal

State-owned energy company PT Pertamina said it has started distributing its high-octane fuel product, Pertamina Dex, from its Integrated Terminal (IT) Bitung, Sulawesi Island.

The distribution of the fuel from the Bitung fuel terminal began on April 7. This adds the type of fuels distributed through the Bitung fuel terminal, which is part of Pertamina's Marketing Operation Region (MOR) VII.

Pertamina DEX is the highest-octane gasoline owned by Pertamina with a sulphuric maximum level at 300 parts per million (ppm). The fuel helps protect cars' engines and it is considered more environmentally friendly fuel.

With the availability of Pertamax Dex at Bitung fuel terminal, North Sulawesi, Pertamina will be able to directly distribute the fuel to consumers in North Sulawesi and Gorontalo provinces.

Previously, Pertamina Dex was previously distributed to the two provinces from Pertamina's Integrated Terminal, Makassar, South Sulawesi, said Unit Manager for Communication & CSR MOR VII of Pertamina, Hatim Ilwan.
