Pertamina still hopeful of C. Java FSRU project

While the government has put a halt on the development of Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Central Java, state oil and gas company PT Pertamina remains hopeful and continues all preparations for the project.

It declared Golar LNG and Hoegh of Norway as the winners of engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) tender for the project.

?Golar and Hoegh won the EPCI for Central Java FSRU,? VP for Gas Engineering Daniel Purba told petromindo.com, adding that Pertamina is currently doing what it can to approach the government to change its mind and continue the project.

At present, Daniel said, Pertamina is in discussions with Golar and Hoegh on the price issue.
