Pertamina still waiting for Algeria?s Sonatrach to confirm crude supply deal

State oil and gas company Pertamina said Thursday that it was still waiting for confirmation from Algerian state-owned oil company Sonatrach whether or not the latter could supply one million barrels of Saharan blend per month for Pertamina?s Balikpapan refinery in East Kalimantan

?We are looking forward to seal crude supply for the period of between six month to one year with Sonatrach,? said Muchsin Bahar, Pertamina?s downstream director.

Muchsin did not know what holding Sonatrach from confirming the deal.

He said Pertamina had bought one million barrels of Saharan Crude in the spot market for June. (godang)
