Pertamina strikes gas in E. Java

State oil and gas company PT. Pertamina said Monday it had made gas find through Kedung Lari exploratory well in Randublatung block, onshore East Java.
Pertamina spokesperson Abadi Purnama said that the well, which was drill to depth of 3,000 meters, flowed 29MMCFD of natural gas on the second week of March. Gas column, he said, was about 150-meter thick.
Abadi said the company was planning further delineation drilling on the block to enable gas certification. (godang)
