Pertamina strikes gas onshore West Java

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has recently suspended an onshore West Java discovery well that flowed 8.5 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 1/2-inch choke from the Upper Cibulakan formation, a company official said Monday.

The discovery well, Sumur Galian-1 is located in Karawang, about 12 km north-east of the Pondok Tengah discovery, Pertamina?s Public Relations Abadi Poernomo said. (godang)
