Pertamina strikes oil, gas in W. Java

Pertamina EP, an upstream unit of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina has discovered oil, gas during its recent drilling in Indramayu, West Java, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Monday.
Spokesperson Sulistya Hastuti told Petromindo.Com that the Karang Tunggal-1 (KRT-1) exploration well flowed 206 BOPD and 2.1 MMCFD of gas during the first drill stem test (DST). Second DST at Jatibarang formation flowed 1,606 BPD of condensate and 19.5MMCFD of gas. Third DST flowed 937BPD of condensate and 13MMCFD of gas.
Fourth and fifth DST failed to flow hydrocarbon, while the sixth DST flowed 900 BOPD, he said. (godang)
