Pertamina supplies gas to households in Lhokseumawe

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina through subsidiary PT Pertagas Niaga started channeling gas to households in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, through its gas city network, aiming to gradually serve a total of 3,997 households, Kontan reported on Wednesday.

The paper quoted Pertagas President Director Linda Sunarti as saying that the gas is sourced from Pertamina Hulu Energi NSO-NSB wells at a volume of 0.5 mmscfd. ?This year is the year of gas city network for Pertagas Niaga,? Linda said.

Pertamina has previously developed gas city networks in other cities in Aceh. In the first quarter of this year, Pertamina started distributing gas to households in Bulungan Regency, and Bekasi Regency. In 2014-215, Pertamina developed gas city networks in Sengkang, Prabumulih, Jambi and Sidoarjo. (*)
