Pertamina tanker explodes

A tanker belonging to state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, called Nusa Bintang, exploded Friday while anchoring off Cilegon, Banten, near the company?s LPG depot.

Banten police officer, Noman said that two crews suffered serious burns following the incident, which is still being investigated by the police.

Noman said that according to the two wounded crews, the explosion came following fire at the ship?s engine. (*)
