Pertamina, TNI sign MoU on protecting national vital objects

State-owned energy company PT Pertamina on Thursday (25/07) signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indonesian National Military (TNI) on safeguarding the country's national vital objects.
The cooperation is also on sharing of data and information, law enforcement on certain military individuals, training and utilization of facilities as well as assistance in distributing corporate social responsibility programs for the best interest of the State.
The MoU was signed by President Director of Pertamina Nicke Widyawati and Military (TNI) Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto in Jakarta.
As the largest national oil and gas company, Pertamina has the biggest assets in the oil and gas sector spreading across the nation. Among strategic assets that will be protected by military personnel will include exploration and production assets, refineries, vessels, distribution pipelines, storage, transportation as well as fuel stations.
President Director of Pertamina Nicke Widyawati appreciates the military for the support to safeguard the assets as well as operational activities of Pertamina.
