Pertamina to acquire shale gas project in Canada

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina plans to acquire a 20-30 percent interest in an operating shale gas project in Canada, according to a company senior official.
Pertamina Upstream Director Muhammad Husen said that the company will become joint operator of the shale gas field. He said that this experience will then be used to develop and manage shale gas projects at home.
He did not provide further details.
